Requirements and responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing the product development strategy in line with business objectives
- Collecting, analyzing, and prioritizing business requirements
- Creating, managing, and continuously maintaining the Product Backlog
- Acting as a liaison between the business side, IT team, designers, and other stakeholders
- Defining functional and non-functional requirements (e.g., security, performance, user experience, etc.)
- Actively participating in sprint planning, refinement, review, and retrospective meetings
- Evaluating and accepting increments based on business value
- Proposing initiatives to improve user experience (UX/UI)
- Monitoring market trends in digital trading and investment platforms.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role
- Practical knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Ability to work with business and technical requirements in IT projects
- Experience with backlog management tools (Jira, Confluence, or similar)
- Understanding of how web and mobile platforms function
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in Azerbaijani; good command of English
- Experience with financial, investment, or e-commerce platforms is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with FinTech or investment platforms
- Basic understanding of APIs and microservices architecture
- Interest in UX/UI principles and user-centered product design
- Data-driven mindset and ability to work with product metrics.
