Unicapital Continues Its Strong Growth Momentum

Unicapital Investment Company OJSC, one of Azerbaijan’s leading investment companies and a key partner in the country’s capital markets, has announced its financial results for the past year. Demonstrating notable growth across all business segments, the company has further strengthened its position in the market.

In 2025, Unicapital’s total operating turnover increased by 60% compared to the previous year, reaching AZN 48.1 billion. Reflecting the strong confidence investors place in the company’s services, the number of client accounts also demonstrated rapid growth and reached a record high of 1.264 million.

At the same time, the company’s total capital — a key indicator of financial resilience and institutional strength — increased by 17%, reaching AZN 1.942 million.

In 2025, Unicapital continued investing in the development of its technological and operational infrastructure. As part of these efforts, investments in intangible assets and technological solutions increased significantly. The company closed the reporting year with a net profit of AZN 285 thousand and, having fulfilled its obligations to shareholders, also distributed dividends totaling AZN 400 thousand during the reporting period.

The results recorded over the past year can be regarded as the outcome of the steps taken toward global integration and digital transformation. In particular:

• Marking a first in Azerbaijan’s capital market, the company acted as the underwriter for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development’s (EBRD) AZN 50 million bond issuance. Based on a floating interest rate mechanism, this issuance introduced a more flexible return model for investors.
• In addition, the company took an important step within the framework of its international growth strategy. Unicapital became the first Azerbaijani investment company to obtain Registered Non-Accredited Market Participant (RNAM) status at the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC). This achievement not only confirms that Unicapital operates in line with international financial standards but also opens new opportunities to further strengthen the company’s position in regional and global capital markets.
• The pilot phase of the “Cryptobroker Platform”introduced by Unicapital and positively reviewed by the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan was successfully completed. As part of this project, new financial solutions were introduced for the secure trading and safekeeping of virtual assets.
